Otsikko: Sources of historical railroaders in Finland?
Kirjoitti: Rasmus Axelsson - Heinäkuu 30, 2018, 23:48:07
If you want to find people who has been working on swedish railways thru the years, you can use a few sources such as the annually or biannually books ("lönestater") which listed people employed by the swedish state railways (SJ), or try to find the person in the archives of the right railway.

Right now, I am trying to find two men named Onni and Oiva Heinonen who was working in Salo with some sort of track maintenance from the 1950s and at least in the 1960s. What source would be the best if I want to find something about these men and their work? If they where employed by VR, where can I find their archives from that time? I am not sure when they where born, but I guess it was in the 1910s or the 1920s.
