Otsikko: Pendolino to Porvoo? Kirjoitti: Stanislav Voronin - Huhtikuu 22, 2010, 09:11:09 This morning (22.4.2010) at 8:20 was spotted Pendolino turning from Kerava station to the track towards Porvoo.
Any ideas what could this mean? Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo? Perhaps they turned it around at Kerava triangle. Possibly they had to turn it around earlier somewhere due to broken JKV at the other end, and now they reversed it back to correct alignment. Kerava triangle is the closest place from Helsinki depot (Ilmala) to do so. Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo? Kirjoitti: Timo Valtonen - Huhtikuu 22, 2010, 11:23:22 Well, the ATC has been troublesome lately...
Eli olisko JKV sekaisin? ;) Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo? Kirjoitti: Robert Sand - Huhtikuu 22, 2010, 11:54:12 Eilen kävi kuulemma S52:sen runko kääntymässä Tuomiojalla.
Ehkä tuo Keravalla havaittu runko oli se sama? Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo? Kirjoitti: Tuukka Ryyppö - Huhtikuu 22, 2010, 13:58:34 The track leaving from Kerava branches into two in Olli, and not lead only to Porvoo but also to Sköldvik. Because the branch to Porvoo is unelectrified, it is extremely unlikely that Sm6 was going there.
However, because the line between Kerava and Sköldvik is electrified, but the traffic there is not dense at all (used only by tank wagon trains to the Sköldvik refinery), it is a very good track for testing things. It is the most quiet electrified line close to Helsinki. And, it is indeed possible that they have just turned the train around or something similar. Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo? I'm quite sure Stanislav was referring to Sm3, not Allegro. Otsikko: Vs: Pendolino to Porvoo?
