The second ( ex Gks ) is BG 030162-2. Which Dm7 is under the blue tarpaulin at the left? And which Dm7 is behind the 030162-2 under the grey tarpaulin? Which one is the EFiab on the other track hiding under a gray tarpaulin behind 030384-2? |

Nice photograph. More of these are welcome. Just a small correction, as the registration of this Doosan DX170w is 99109970434-8 and the road registration is 254·CAS. |

Unfortunately, the date of the picture can not be right. The tracks and the high construction with antennas were probably removed before this century. Here is now the widened Ratapihankatu. The last time I have seen these snowploughs was a long time ago at the triangle between the Uusikaupunki line and the line to Pansio.( the grey triangle on Google Earth ) I do not know if that was still a scrapyard at that time. |

Thank you for the first two paragraphs of your reply to my question. I am going to get the Junat magazines from the storage to have a look at the article. I have most of the issues of Junat, as I had a subscription since the start. Only the last issue I do not have, as it was probably lost in the mail. As far as I am concerned, the second part of your reply should not have been there at all. Even without having seen the drawings, I think that doing anything in CAD for hobby purposes in 1989, was very brave in a time that people had to take special courses to get an insight in the possibilities of the program. It was a disappointment to see it. |

At http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/122152?a=1, we can see the same crane as it also has a number 3 on it. The housing is a little bit different, but some repairs might have been necessary between 1912 and 1939. | ||||

Thank you for the requested information. I have found that everywhere these machines are photographed but are mostly not very well documented. Especially the railway registration is difficult to get from a photograph. I do not know when these were introduced, but I am sure that before they were not very often visible form the outside. In my opinion, all maintenance equipment is equally important as engines and waggons to keep the railways of the world operational. |

Does anybody know the railway registration and/or the road registration of the Doosan DX160w? And who owns this machine? |

It looks like it says № 2 behind the Lv.Vo1. Has the tank of Lv.Vo2 № 2 been moved to a different frame? See http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/98416?a=1 ? At http://vaunut.org/kuva/11429 we see the same kind of frame as Lv.Vo2 № 2. |

I suppose that there were at least two of these machines, Tsl-Rto 47 and Tsl-Rto 57: http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/61504?a=1 That leaves some questions: Which one is the one on http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/145093?a=1? Which one is the machine on http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/21760?a=1? Which one was later renamed as Tsl 886? Were both machines of exactly the same type and are the production numbers/years known? |

What is the roadregistration of the Komatsu on the left? I see 4?8·FA? If more information is available, I would be interested in the railregistration, manufacturing number and year, internal Sundström number, etc. The same info on the Komatsu ( 160 or 180 ?) on the right, would also be welcome. |

This is Ttk-Rto 34, or, if there were more of these, a sistermachine. I saw the Ttk-Rto 34 in Karjaa in 1982. I do not know what the purpose of this machine was, but I guess measuring. |

Nice to see that there is more people that are interested in these machines. Most photographs of road-rail machines have no way to identify the individual machine. Do you have the road registration too? I like to see more like this one. |

This is the same machine as in the link: http://www.vaunut.org/kuva/59000?a=1 Are there any lists available with registration numbers of equipment used in maintenance of the track system? I mean equipment of companies like Winco, Eltel, Komsor, Taavico, Snoulift, Jopaline, Erkco, EPF and all the other big and small companies that work on the track system. I believe that all equipment used on the tracks, must have obtained official permission to do so, especially in regard to safety and compliance with detection and other systems. |
